9 Months

At my nine month check-up:

-I weighed 18.7 lbs

-My height is 29 1/4 in

During this month:

-My new words this month were, 'mama', 'what' and 'up please.'

-I stood by myself for about 30 seconds.

-I recognize my friends at playgroup, I reach out to them.

-I shared my toys, I even hand them to Gabby to play with.

-I enjoy carrying around keys and puzzle pieces.

-I ate orzo pasta with a butternut and broccoli sauce.

- I finally got to eat whole food other than puffs.

Here are some other things about me:

-When Daddy turns on the faucet during my bath, I put my tongue out to try and get a drink.

-I throw my toys in the tub when it is bath time (Daddy has been showing me how to do this).

-I now dance by bouncing on my knees and moving my head up and down.

-My new favorite bath toy is a blue ball.

-I still love to read books and turn the pages one by one. (My favorite are the touch and feel books).

-I went to my first concert at the mall with my friend Kara.

-I can open and close doors and turn on and off light switches.

-I enjoy helping Mommy with the dishes and folding clothes.

I can't wait for my grandparents to watch me when Mommy and Daddy go to Jamica in March!

I like to cruise on furniture. I enjoy reading my books while I am standing.

 All bundled up!

 For my Thanksgiving dinner I ate turkey, corn, mashed and sweet potatoes, green beans, and asparagus. I loved using my hands to eat.

I started to feed myself with my spoon.

 I liked Mrs. Clause but...

 I did not like Santa.
