6 Months Old

If you haven't seen me in a while, I have changed a lot! At my 6 month check-up I weighed 16.95 pounds and measured 27 inches in height. Here are some of the things I am doing on my half birthday:
-I sit up by myself.
-My first word was 'hi'.
-If I see other babies sleeping, that is my cue to squeal and babble to them.
-I sit in a highchair and in a shopping cart.
-I had my first meal other then rice cereal and applesauce. I love carrots and winter squash. I do not like peas, green beans, or avocado, even when Mommy tries to trick me by adding them to my carrots.
-I like to try and feed myself. I often miss my mouth.
-I took a trip to Ohio and saw Mia and Grandpa and Aunt Julie where we picked apples and made homemade applesauce.
-Grace and Uncle Shane and Aunt Kate came for a visit and we went to the park and the pool.
